Membership
Shepley Cricket Club is a members’ club. In order to maintain itself and grow, it has always relied on the payment of subscriptions by those wishing to be playing or non-playing members.
We want membership of the Club to be accessible to everyone in Shepley who has an interest in cricket. For this reason, the Club offers various different types of membership. We hope the membership structure is understandable, easy to administer and transparent and that there is a membership category applicable to anyone who wishes to join.

Playing Membership
Full Playing Adult Member £130.00
Women’s Cricket only £60.00
Sunday League only £5 per match
Full Time Student (non Junior player) £75.00
Junior (U11 to U17 squads) £75.00
Junior (U9 squad) £50.00
Those joining the Club as a playing member, whether junior or senior, will enjoy the benefits that you would expect from being a club cricketer including:
Access to the club facilities for official training sessions and match days.
The provision of game equipment (i.e., stumps, balls etc.) and for senior members the provision of matchday scorers and umpires.
Shepley Cricket Club also welcomes social members. The support of our non-playing members is invaluable and helps us maintain the facilities and offer events throughout the course of the year.
Non Playing Membership
Individual Social £15.00
Family Social £20.00
For anyone wishing to join in a non-playing capacity then we offer the above listed membership options. As with a playing membership all social members will, again on the presentation of a valid membership card, be entitled to a 10% discount on all products available from the bar*.
*Other than during Private Hire functions.
Payment of membership fees
Those wishing to join the club as a member will, upon providing their contacts, be issued with an invoice which will include payment options.
Once a potential member has paid their membership fees in full, or upon the agreement with the committee as to a specific payment plan, a membership card will be issued. As noted previously that membership card must be presented in order to benefit from the 10% bar discount.
We acknowledge, that in some circumstances, the payment of membership will represent a significant outlay. We want to ensure that playing cricket or just enjoying the club and its surroundings is available to everyone and so if it is the case the you require assistance in the payment of fees please contact a member of the committee to discuss and agree a payment plan which is accommodating of your circumstances.
All such discussions will be held in the strictest of confidence and will remain confidential as between you and the committee.
