Cricket cannot happen without its people, and the support of you as volunteers.

From 9am to 4pm on Saturday 23rd March, we are asking for your support in getting the ground & the facilities ready and looking its best for the season ahead.

A couple of hours (or more!) of your time is all we need on the day, there are a list of tasks to be completed both inside and outside the buildings. In return, we get a club that we can continue to be proud of AND complimentary Tea/Coffee & Bacon Sandwiches (thanks Viv).

Lots of jobs to do, including

Outside – Painting, varnishing, jet washing, cutting, strimming, gardening, fetching & carrying. Also work required to renew the rear nets, and maintenance of the roll on net is also required.

Inside – painting, cleaning, picture hanging, organising.

I hope some of you can find the time to help us, I encourage you to bring the kids, there are plenty of jobs that can be done by small but willing hands. I would just say maybe don’t put the kids in any clothes that would spoil. If anyone has any particular skills that you think may help please do let me know – roofers, groundworkers, builders, electricians, plumbers – we can then make sure we use the time the best we possibly can.
