Shepley v Thongsbridge Examiner Twenty20 Competition Tuesday 17 June 2008 Marsh Lane, Shepley
A sparkling unbroken stand of 110 between Ashley Brothers (87*) and Adam Wiles (48*) took Shepley to a comfortable Twenty20 Competition win over Thongsbridge. The visitors got off to the worst possible start, losing Singh to the first ball of the match and struggling to get opening bowlers Craig Glover (1-22) and the excellent Oliver Huntington (2-18) away. Wickets fell regularly, but eventually the charge came and 21 runs of Ramesh Subasinghe's last over helped them post a respectable 142. In reply, Danny Glover went early, but Tom Denton (24) played some classy shots before leaving it to the Brothers & Wiles show.
