Hall Bower v Shepley Sykes Cup 2nd Round Sunday 18th May 2008 Hall Bower Lane, Honley
Shepley had a convincing Sykes Cup second round victory at Hall Bower. Bowlers Craig Glover (5-42), Phil Heaton (2-5), and Danny Glover (2-41) restricted the home side to 149 all out. In reply Shepley lost openers Tom Denton and Sam Haigh to a good spell from Gara, but the middle order held firm, led by Phil Heaton (72*) and Tim Rees (36) to secure a seven wicket win with 24 overs to spare.
